The Toronto Caribbean Carnival which is commonly called Caribana is a festival of Caribbean culture and traditions that is held every summer season in the city of Toronto, Canada. It is the Caribbean Toronto Carnival event that has been named as North America’s largest street festival and visited by approximately 1.3 million visitors each year for the festival’s final parade and the overall audience turns about 2 million. The entire Toronto Caribbean Carnival is considered to be one of the first Caribbean Carnivals among the ones held in NYC, Notting Hill and Boston.
The festival is majorly highlighted by a street parade is usually held on the first weekend of August. The festival comprises of costumed dancers along with the live Caribbean music which is being played from the largest collection of world’s most famous singers like Pitbull, Drake and various others from the large speakers on the flat-bed of 18 wheeler trucks.
